About The Role
This newly created Commercial Analyst role reports directly to the CFO and will strengthen our financial planning, vendor performance, contract management capabilities, and commercial decision-making. You'll be instrumental in driving financial performance, improving cost efficiency, and providing actionable insights to the Executive Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting cycles.
Build and maintain dynamic financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
Analyse business performance against key metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Manage vendor contracts, renewals, and compliance with SLAs and obligations.
Provide data-driven insights to support commercial negotiations and cost optimisation.
Track vendor performance and savings through robust reporting and modelling.
Lead commercial modelling for pricing, discounting, and strategic initiatives.
Prepare business cases and communicate insights via dashboards and presentations.
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and governance frameworks.
Experience & Skills
3–5 years' experience in a commercial, FP&A, or analytical finance role.
Strong understanding of financial planning, accruals, and cost management.
Comfort working in fast-paced, growth-oriented businesses.
Excellent stakeholder management – confident working directly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce and CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion).
Skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (Power BI an advantage).
Analytical thinking and business acumen – ability to interpret and communicate insights, not just crunch numbers.
Curiosity, drive, and a desire to make a tangible impact on business performance.
