BDA is looking for a Data Management Specialist to work as part of a dynamic team in support of the Wakulda Air Battle Management System for the Australian Defence Force. In this role you will: Control the receipt, registration, protection, release, distribution, handling and storage of project data and support secure data transfer activities. Maintain controls to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements. Assist with the retention, archival and disposal requirements of stored records and data. This is an on-site role based in Brisbane, Queensland. As a Data Management Specalist within BDA, you will Support Data Management execution and secure data activities. Ensure incoming and outgoing project-related data is stored and retrieved in appropriate systems. Manage, track, file and distribute data to the project team, and between internal and external stakeholders. Administer access controls within an electronic document management system. Act as the first point of contact for document queries within the project team and assist and train project staff on record keeping responsibilities. Administer and control data from an information protection, data transfer, retention and archival perspective. Support continuous improvement of data management plans, processes and tools. Maintain effective and positive relationships with stakeholders to support the operation of the platform. About you To be successful in this role you will have: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Previous experience in defence or engineering highly desirable. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience using an electronic document management system. Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
