Our client is looking to fill an APS 5 Executive Assistant position for initially 3 month non ongoing contract with view for extension.
**Key Duties**
You will undertake work that is complex and sensitive in nature, under very limited direction:
- Contribute to team outcomes and ensure business needs are met through effective coordination of administrative functions and operational requirements.
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior officers as required, including; diary management, control and coordination of correspondence and other documentation.
- Respond to a range of routine, sensitive or urgent agency matters as the primary point of contact for the Office of the First Assistant Commissioner/s.
- Respond to requests from stakeholders and senior management for information or advice on policy, administrative or operational matters including advice of a technical or specialist nature.
- Proactively manage daily workflow and competing requests, ensuring clear, timely and effective coordination.
- Support the preparation of complex correspondence and reports, including managing inputs from a range of contributors.
- Exercise financial delegations relevant to the role.
- Contribute to the planning of a work area including development of work plans, establishing priorities and monitoring progress.
- Contribute to doctrine, election preparation and delivery activities in accordance with the election readiness framework, according to individual accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Build, maintain and facilitate relationships and engagements with a wide network of stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Support the development of team capacity by ensuring they have adequate access to resources and guidance.
The salary band is $76,863 - $84,236 plus 15.4% superannuation, based on experience.
