* Campus-Based role with flexible work arrangements.
* Salary: $104,953- $ $113,204 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Lead operational safety and security services that protect and support the Western Sydney University community.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will coordinate the delivery of campus safety and security services across multiple sites, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will supervise contract security officers, oversee traffic and parking operations, and manage emergency preparedness activities including evacuation drills and warden programs. Your work will strengthen the University's safety posture and enhance the community's experience on campus.
You will also take responsibility for reporting, compliance monitoring, and incident investigation using University systems to ensure accurate documentation and continuous improvement. Through proactive engagement with stakeholders such as Police, contractors, and internal teams, you will help maintain a collaborative and responsive safety framework across campus operations.
Your contribution will influence policy and procedure development, support WHS alignment, and enhance operational consistency across all supervised activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining an environment where people feel supported, protected, and informed.
What Success Looks Like:
* Provide effective supervision of contract security teams to ensure service quality and compliance.
* Lead emergency management activities, including drills, training, and real-time incident response.
* Maintain accurate incident reporting and operational records that support compliance and analysis.
* Deliver strong stakeholder engagement that supports safe and positive campus experiences.
* Monitor contractor performance and escalate risks or non-compliance appropriately.

About You
* Current NSW 1A Security Licence and Working with Children Check, plus Certificate IV in Security Management or related field.
* Demonstrated experience supervising security personnel and contractors.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including Crimes Act (NSW) and AS3745, and capability in emergency planning.
* High-level communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
* Ability to prepare reports, work to deadlines, and support WHS compliance in security operations.
