Business Analyst Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our business processes align with strategic objectives while adhering to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and experience working with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of general insurance principles and be familiar with relevant regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Analyse Australian insurance legislative and regulatory trends to inform business decisions.
* Provide timely updates on implementation progress and coordinate with subject matter experts as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in general insurance product/portfolio management, underwriting, or claims handling, preferably with expertise in motor, travel, or domestic property insurance products.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, economics, commerce, finance, mathematics) and/or professional certification (e.g., ANZIIF) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in compliance and regulatory matters.
