Job Title:
This is a Desktop Support Technician role that involves second-level end user IT support and problem resolution.
The position requires the candidate to have 1-3 years of experience in PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
The ideal candidate will be qualified in an IT related discipline and have experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 11, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office, and networking basics.
Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills, customer service focus, and regular attendance commitment.
A driver's license is required for occasional site visits.
About the Role:
This is an onsite role providing technical assistance and problem-solving at our client site. The candidate will work as part of a team to manage incidents, knowledge base articles, tasks, and assets within the Service Management tool.
The role also involves keeping the stock/build room tidy and managing eWaste, facilitating user training sessions, and assisting with project work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Second-level end user IT support and problem resolution
* Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution
* Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment
* General IT troubleshooting and assistance
* Manage incidents, knowledge base articles, tasks, and assets within the Service Management tool
* Keep the stock/build room tidy
* Manage eWaste
* Facilitate user training sessions
* Assist with project work
* Participate in after-hours/weekend support activities as required
