About the Role
As a Pump Fitter within the site's Dewatering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining water movement across the operation. This role is hands-on and suits someone with strong mechanical aptitude and pump experience.
You'll be working across a wide range of equipment including:
* Submersible pumps
* Trailer-mounted pumps
* Diesel and electric-driven pump units
* Generators (predominantly Cummins)
* General rotating equipment
Key Responsibilities
* Planned and unplanned maintenance on pumps of all sizes
* Fault finding on pumps and generators
* Servicing, inspections, and breakdown response
* Supporting the dewatering team with daily operational tasks
* Ensuring safe work practices and quality workmanship
What We're Looking For
* HD Fitter qualification preferred
* Mechanical Fitters with strong pump experience encouraged to apply
* Experience in dewatering or water management highly regarded
* Rotating equipment experience essential
* C Class Licence (HR desirable)
* HRWL advantageous
* White Card
