Job Title: Foster Care Specialist
You will play an important role in supporting children and young people in foster care, working closely with foster carers, families and a network of professionals to ensure each child receives the specialised care they need.

* Facilitate transitions and coordinate caregiver matches
* Ensure best-practice care for children and young people in foster care
Requirements:
* Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification (if Diploma level, willing to study further)
* Current Victorian drivers licence
* Current CPR and First Aid certificate
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system and the available resources and services in Gippsland
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives
