Youth Early Intervention Mental Health Clinician - Infant Child Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Service - Permanent position available.

The Youth Early Intervention Mental Health Clinician will be a valued member of the Infant Child Youth Area Mental Health Wellbeing Service and undertake evidence-based mental health assessment, formulation, individualized recovery planning, and multi-model therapeutic treatment that is consistent with standards outlined for consumers with severe mental health difficulties.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
* Unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Work.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing or a specialist post-basic course of training leading to registration as a Div 3 Mental Health Nurse.
* Demonstrated ability and experience in working with and engaging young people and families/carers with complex presentations.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* A current Victoria (or equivalent) driver's license.

AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care, and support, including Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialized community-based programs, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also support families coping with parental mental illness and facilitate connections to carer consultants.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise clinicians with backgrounds in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, all experienced in various therapies. This diversity enriches our service and supports your clinical practice development.
