About the Position:

* Lead and/or support a wide range of environmental approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, covering Commonwealth, State and local jurisdictions as applicable.

* Collaborate with ERM national and global practitioners to execute projects, participating on teams composed of multi-disciplinary professionals from multiple offices around the world.
">
* Develop skills including technical expertise, project experience, and general consulting and decision-making skills.
">
* Contribute to proposal development, including development of technical scopes and cost estimates in accordance with ERM's policies and processes.
">
* When required, direct and monitor project management activities related to projects, including task delegation and direction, subcontractor management, health & safety protocol management, monitoring of commercial performance, quality review of deliverables, and interaction with clients.

* Work with other global ERM resources to deepen relationships with key clients to expand ERM's profile and market share in the global mining and future energies markets through a combination of excellence in technical delivery and business development support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
* Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or science, or related discipline.
">
* 3+ years of relevant infrastructure and/or energy industry experience, including environmental approvals/permitting and/or management. Consulting industry experience highly desirable.
">
* Experience with and understanding of the environmental/planning approvals process applicable to QLD projects, therefore a working knowledge of the Planning Act 2016, Vegetation Management Act 1990, Nature Conservation Act 1992 and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, and affiliated regulator guidance.
">
* Experience in managing approvals for infrastructure projects, with experience in the renewables sector desirable.

* Strong knowledge of project management and experience working as part of an integrated team.
">
* Critical thinking skills – i.e., able to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful outcomes.
">
* Excellent report writing, data collation and management/presentation skills.
">
* Motivated to proactively contribute to a team environment, share knowledge, skills and ideas.
