Newcastle
Demasi Consulting
Posted: 10 March
Offer description

Operational Partner to Director | Full-Time or Part-Time Contractor | Flexible Structure

Looking for more than a traditional administration role?

Demasi Consulting is a boutique psychology-led consultancy delivering high-quality psychological and organisational services across Western Australia. We support individuals and workplaces to strengthen wellbeing, culture and capability through thoughtful, evidence-informed solutions.

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Office Liaison to work closely with the Director in supporting operations, systems, financial administration and client experience.

This is an opportunity to operate as a genuine operational partner within a respected, purpose-led consultancy — bringing structure, sound judgement and professionalism to the systems and relationships that support our work.

This role is suited to experienced professionals who are comfortable working with autonomy and responsibility within a small consultancy environment.

The role is offered on a contract basis (ABN required) and may be structured full-time or part-time by agreement. The role is primarily home-based, with potential for hybrid arrangements should our office structure evolve.

The Role

You will operate at a senior support level, bringing maturity, discretion and commercial awareness to a dynamic consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Strategic diary and inbox management with forward planning
* Professional liaison with clients, corporate stakeholders and referrers
* Scoping referrals and coordinating appointments
* Financial administration including invoicing, account oversight and debt management
* Preparation, formatting and secure distribution of reports and formal documentation
* Oversight of Medicare, Workers Compensation and related governance systems
* Monitoring compliance processes and maintaining administrative integrity
* Coordination of project timelines, deliverables and budget tracking
* Identifying opportunities to strengthen workflow, systems and processes

The position requires sound judgement, the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of professionalism and responsiveness.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgement and maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams.

About You

You are mature, consistent, calm and solutions-focused.

You demonstrate strong judgement, emotional intelligence and discretion, and are comfortable working with autonomy and accountability.

You bring:
* 5+ years' experience in senior administrative, office management, executive assistant or comparable high-responsibility roles
* Demonstrated experience managing confidential and sensitive information
* Strong financial administration capability (MYOB or equivalent essential)
* Demonstrated experience managing financial administration independently
* Advanced Microsoft Office competency
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to manage complexity without becoming reactive
* Confidence engaging with professionals across healthcare, corporate and regulatory environments
* Experience within healthcare, psychology, allied health or other regulated sectors is highly regarded. Experience with integrated practice management systems (e.g. CorePlus, Halaxy) is advantageous.

This role will not suit candidates seeking highly structured supervision or routine task-based administration.

* Work in direct partnership with the Director, and team of clinicians
* Contribute meaningfully within a growing, values-driven consultancy
* Operate with flexibility and professional autonomy
* Influence systems and workflow design
* Work in an environment where integrity, quality and impact matter

Competitive contract rates will reflect experience and capability.

A detailed Position Description is available upon request.

If you are seeking meaningful work and are motivated by partnership, clarity and high standards, we would welcome your application.

Please forward your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your availability, the experience you would bring to this role, and your highest educational achievement to:
