Job Title: Dispensary Assistant
Dispensary Assistants are vital members of the healthcare team, supporting pharmacists and technicians with various duties. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
* Assisting with general dispensary duties, including stock management and distribution
* Supporting the Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacist with tasks under direct supervision
* Coordinating the distribution of stock, managing shelf life, and disposing/returning expired items
* Assisting in stocktaking of medical and dental supplies in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures
Requirements:
* The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
* Certificate Qualified non-pharmacist Dispensary Assistant/Technician (Dispensary Technicians Course Certificate, or equivalent)
* 2 Years (full-time) experience as a Dispensary Assistant/Technician within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients
