Manual MACHINIST Wanted
Our client has a busy manufacturing facility located in Welshpool and who specialise in providing products to the construction, primary manufacturing and mining industries.
About the role
This opportunity will find the successful candidate contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment and providing the pivotal components to the end product for use in the above industries.
As a manual Machinist, your primary focus is to effectively ensure that the tasks you are assigned too are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties to include, however not limited to
* Manual lathe operation
* Preventive maintenance
* Liaise with internal Stakeholders
* Ensure that all documentation is accurate at all times
* Read and interpret drawings in order to complete assigned tasks/jobs in an accurate manner
* Ensure that machines are always clean, serviced and maintained in good working order
* Programming experience is highly valued
Skills and qualifications
* Prior experience in a similar position
* Trade qualified
* Computer literacy
* Strong communication skills both written and verbally
* Ability to multitask and time manage
* Confident team player who can also work autonomously as required
* Current Forklift Licence
* FULL WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA
