Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in applied mathematics, publish in top-tier journals, and secure external research grants.
- Deliver excellence in teaching, develop and deliver engaging lectures, supervise research students, and contribute to curriculum development in applied mathematics.
- Foster academic leadership, participate in school administration, engage in professional activities, and contribute to outreach programmes.
- Build collaborations, develop research links with other schools and departments nationally and internationally.
Requirements
- Hold a PhD in applied mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- Have a strong publication record in top-quality, discipline-recognised outlets.
- Possess the ability to secure research funding through competitive grant schemes.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and experience in curriculum development.
- Have robust communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
