Glenview Community Services are a leading Tasmanian aged care provider proudly based in Hobart's northern suburbs. We are connected to our community and deliver a diverse range of services, from tailored home care to our state-of-the-art purpose-built dementia care village.
We are currently seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join our dedicated People and Culture team on a part time basis.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed term, part time position at 0.7 FTE - 53.2 hours per fortnight
In this position you will work under the broad direction of the Executive Manager - People and Culture. As the People and Culture Advisor you will work collaboratively with the People and Culture Business Partner to deliver guidance and advice on people and culture matters, produce high-quality HR insights and reports, manage key employee lifecycle processes, manage employee compliance, and play an active role in HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide sound HR advice to managers and employees across the organisation
* Support and coordinate employee relations matters
* Facilitate EA and Award interpretation and application
* Ensure HR records and compliance information are up to date
* Prepare high-quality HR reports and insights to support strategic decisions
* Maintain up-to-date compliance across visa checks, Aged Care standards and NDIS legislative requirements
* Support employee record audits, continuous improvement and a variety of HR projects
About You
* Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
* Minimum Certificate IV level qualification in Human Resources or working towards
* Proven HR generalist experience with an understanding of employment legislation
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Analytical and problem-solving capability
* High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
* Additional qualifications in a complementary area (e.g., WHS, Injury Management)
Mandatory Requirements
* National Police Check (suitable for work under the Aged Care Act)
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (with NDIS endorsement)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Working Visa
