About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Laundry Assistant to join our team at Terrigal Laundrette. This part-time position is based in Terrigal, NSW 2260. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive a high-quality laundry service.
What you'll be doing
* Sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing customer laundry items including linen for holiday accommodation to a high standard.
* Assisting with the operation and maintenance of laundry equipment
* Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Restocking and organising supplies as needed
* Adhering to all health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a laundry or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual
* Own transport required
