Job Description
The Role
Join a busy, agriculture‑based operation where you'll support orchard activities through the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Working closely with orchard staff and managers, you'll help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently while contributing to a positive, proactive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll provide essential support in maintaining orchard equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operations, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the business. Responsibilities include :
* Maintain and repair orchard machinery and equipment to ensure safe, reliable daily operations
* Coordinate servicing, repairs and R&M activities with orchard managers, lease providers and farm staff
* Record maintenance, costs and equipment activity accurately, supporting budgeting and asset management
* Drive continuous improvement by analysing costs, improving processes and supporting operational efficiency
* Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development
Benefits

Your Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in machinery, mechanical, or agricultural equipment maintenance
* Strong problem‑solving ability with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance
* Ability to communicate effectively with farm and orchard teams
* Strong record‑keeping skills and confidence working with maintenance schedules and equipment data
* Commitment to safe work practices
* Willingness to support a positive and collaborative team environment
