We are now seeking a highly capable Product Manager to take ownership of our multi-brand product portfolio and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of EvoHeat products.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced technical product leader who enjoys operating at the intersection of engineering, compliance, commercial strategy and market innovation.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational management of EvoHeat's product portfolios across:
* Residential and commercial hot water heat pumps
* Pool heating systems
* Commercial & industrial heat pump solutions
* Emerging energy-efficient product categories
You will drive product performance, compliance, innovation and market expansion while working closely with engineering teams, overseas manufacturing partners, sales, marketing, compliance and service functions.
Your work will directly influence EvoHeat's market leadership, brand strength and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio Leadership
* Own the full lifecycle of all products across the EvoHeat Group
* Monitor performance, profitability, competitiveness and customer feedback
* Lead product rationalisation, upgrades, replacements and end-of-life planning
* Ensure ongoing alignment with commercial strategy and market needs
New Product Development
* Identify and scope new products, line extensions and technology upgrades
* Lead development from concept through to launch, including:
* Feasibility analysis
* Technical specifications
* Validation testing and field trials
* Certification and compliance pathways
* Partner closely with engineering teams and OEM manufacturers to deliver market-leading solutions
Market & Segment Expansion
* Identify new market opportunities across residential, commercial and industrial sectors
* Conduct competitor analysis and technology benchmarking
* Support multi-brand strategies (EvoHeat, Thermastore, Guardian) and channel-specific product requirements
Compliance & Certification Ownership
* Ensure all products comply with applicable standards and regulations, including:
* AS/NZS standards
* Electrical safety and EMC
* MEPS / GEMS
* Refrigerant compliance
* RCM / EESS / WaterMark (where applicable)
* Manage laboratory testing, certification bodies, technical files and compliance registers
Government Incentives & Energy Schemes
* Maintain eligibility and registrations for:
* STCs
* VEU / VEEC
* HEER and other state schemes
* Track regulatory changes and maximise rebate eligibility through product design and documentation
* Prepare technical submissions and performance evidence
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Support Sales with product positioning, pricing inputs and technical guidance
* Partner with Marketing on product documentation, training materials and go-to-market strategies
* Work with Service and Warranty teams to analyse field performance and drive continuous improvement
Supplier & Factory Partner Management
* Manage relationships with key OEM partners (including PHNIX and others)
* Oversee product change management, quality control and factory acceptance testing
* Ensure consistent performance, documentation and compliance standards

About You
You are a technically strong, commercially minded Product Manager who thrives in complex product environments and enjoys bringing sophisticated engineered products to market.
Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
Essential Experience
* Proven experience in product management, product engineering or technical product leadership within:
* HVAC
* Heat pumps
* Renewable energy
* Appliances or similar engineered products
* A minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience is required
* Strong technical understanding of heat pump systems, refrigeration or thermodynamics
* Hands-on experience with Australian standards and regulatory compliance
* Experience working with certification bodies and testing laboratories
* Excellent project management capability across multiple concurrent programs
* Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and documentation standards
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Highly Regarded
* Experience working with overseas OEM manufacturers
* Experience managing STC / VEU / energy-scheme eligible products
* Background in Pool, HVAC, Water Heating, or energy-efficiency markets
* Engineering or applied science qualification
