Event, Activity & Function Assistant
Maitland City Council is a diverse and dynamic organisation in a rapidly growing LGA. We run a number of different events, activities and initiatives throughout the year, and we are looking for casual Event, Activity & Function Assistants to help bring these exciting events to life!
About the Role
Our casual Event, Activity & Function Assistants will provide support with the setup, delivery, operation and pack down of Council's events and activities. This may include set up and pack down of equipment, ticket and merchandise sales, liaising with performers, entertainment and volunteers, as well as cleaning and general labouring.
About You
You'll have a keen interest in working in events as this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into the events Industry! You're a team player who can problem solve and are someone who enjoys engaging and interacting with others.
As majority of our events are held on weekends or after hours, it is essential that you are available during these times.
Benefits
This is casual role offering an hourly rate of $36.95 inclusive of casual loading, plus 11% superannuation, and will also include penalty rates on weekends.
