Electrical and Instrumentation Planning Role Summary
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electrical and instrumentation planning.
* Review maintenance management systems daily for approved notifications, creating work orders
* Conduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work
* Populate the work order & workpack with tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, PMRs and other services required to execute the work
* Maintain integrity of the maintenance management system
* Plan and schedule preventative workorders, ensuring statutory testing and compliance is maintained
* Reserve all stock materials, identify part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock items
* Verify the workorder status accurately represents the progress and constraints through the entire life cycle of the workorder
* Participate in the development and control of planning and quality processes
* Apply technical knowledge to resolve backlog prioritisation. Liaise with coordinators and technical departments to determine the optimum methodology and time to execute work
* Liaise with Area Planners, identifying simultaneous operations opportunities during the development of programs and schedules
* Attend/Chair weekly planning and scheduling meetings
* Take feedback on the work at the completion of the job and continually improve information for future work - Create job specific task lists, update critical bills of material
* Participate in the development and control of budgets
* Demonstrate a proactive role in identifying safety improvements
* Provide proactive, constructive and innovative input which will enhance present practices
* Actively pursue personal development utilising the My Success Plan process
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and instrumentation planning and a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation processing and maintenance.
