We are looking to hire a customer focused and enthusiastic professional to join our Shared Services Centre as a Payroll Analyst .
You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday in our modern Parramatta office, located just 6 minutes' walk from the nearest train station. Once you are up and running in the role you will have the option to WFH 1 day per week.
As Our Payroll Analyst, You'll Be
* Handling end-to-end payroll processing weekly and monthly (think super, tax, and payments).
* Keeping employee payroll records up-to-date.
* Supporting staff and management on payroll related queries.
* Interpreting awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.
* Calculating and processing annual leave, LSL provisions/accruals and termination payments
* Processing pay increases/changes and back pay calculations.
* Maintaining electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.
* Generating payroll reports to meet internal and statutory obligations.
To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone who has:
* At least 2 years of payroll experience.
* A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting (a big plus).
* Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel. SAP experience will also be highly regarded.
* A solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations.
* A team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.
* High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise your work to meet deadlines.
