Key Responsibilities:
* Support families, caregivers, and clinical staff to understand how dementia impacts each individual.
* Equip carers and clinicians with knowledge to prevent and respond to behaviour changes through coaching and development of resources.
* Develop reports that are contextualised to individual situations and people, effecting change on the ground and improving quality of life for people living with dementia.
* Undertake assessments to understand the holistic experience of the person and their care network.
* Work in partnership with the broader Dementia Support Australia team to build capability across the home and aged care sectors.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting people living with dementia - An understanding of dementia and a person-centred approach to care, with a genuine commitment to supporting individuals and their families.
* Relevant qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, Aged Care or Mental Health is essential.
