**The Role**
As the Executive Assistant to Commander Air Force Training Group, you will be required to undertake administrative support activities and tasks for the Commander, and well as Air Force Training Group Senior Executives.

You will be responsible for managing and performing clerical and administrative business support in the following domains;
- Schedule and calendar management
- Conference and meeting administration
- Travel administration
- Records management
- Procurement activities

The Executive Assistant is also responsible for stakeholder engagement, and acts as a front of house liaison point to triage both visitors and incoming correspondence for Senior Executives.

**About our Team**
Seated in the Executive Office, you will work closely with Senior Executives, and alongside a junior Royal Australian Air Force Officer, acting as Principal Staff Officer to Commander Air Force Training Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside, and be mentored by, some of Defence's most accomplished leaders.

The Executive Team is comprised of a select group of Staff responsible for delivering command and strategic effects in pursuit of Air Force Training Group's Mission: Develop, train and educate Aviators to deliver high end focused 21st Century Airpower and enable integrated warfighting effects.

The ideal Executive Assistant possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, and organisational acumen. As the first point of contact representing the Executive Team, you present as a professional, courteous and composed individual. Due to the high-tempo, and dynamic nature of work within the Executive Team, you will be required to demonstrate agility and adaptability in your daily work, and be prepared to respond to short notice changes in priorities and tasking.

You are able to work independently under limited direction, and coordinate closely with the Principal Staff Officer in order to achieve outcomes in support of the Executive Team's objectives and intent. Most importantly, you are eager and prepared to learn. You are humble, curious, and excited to integrate into, and become a key player in, a high-performing team.
