The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to join our team in Queanbeyan (2620). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance workshop facilities and amenities, while ensuring all vehicles are maintained in accordance with Veolia Fleet Maintenance policies.

What you'll be responsible for
Overseeing all repair and maintenance activities for heavy vehicle fleet
Managing repair and maintenance budgets
Ensuring compliance with Veolia Fleet Maintenance policies and procedures
Managing maintenance workshop facilities and amenities
Supervising maintenance staff across multiple workshop sites
Maintaining accurate and timely maintenance records and documentation
Implementing and monitoring safe work practices
What you'll need to be successful
Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Licence (Trade Licence)
HR Truck Licence
Logistics industry background (preferred)
Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
Strong analytical skills and report interpretation abilities
Proven stakeholder relationship management experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Proficient computer literacy
Strong commitment to safety practices
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
