Role Overview
A senior architect role is available to lead and develop architectural plans for the corporate function domain.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to define and maintain current and target capability models aligned to business needs.
Key deliverables include a current and target state domain capability model, co-developed domain strategy and roadmap with the Domain Owner, architecture guardrails specific to the domain, investment shaping and governance artefacts, and domain-specific contribution to the digital target state.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Domain Owner to co-develop domain strategies, priorities, and roadmaps.
* Capability Modelling: Define and maintain current and target capability models aligned to business needs.
* Roadmaps & Strategy: Design, update, and communicate the domain's strategic direction, technology roadmap, and transformation plans.
* Architecture Standards & Guardrails: Define and uphold domain-specific guardrails to standardise technologies, services, and architectural patterns.
* Portfolio Alignment: Shape and assure investments within the domain, ensuring alignment with the capability model, roadmap, and sequencing.
* Governance: Support governance forums by providing oversight for architecture practices across the core corporate function domain.
* Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and apply emerging technologies and practices to enhance domain capabilities and deliver business value.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Architecture Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, capability modelling, and portfolio shaping.
* Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of processes, governance, and investment models within the corporate function domain.
* Systems Thinking: Connects organisational, process, data, and technology layers into coherent architecture.
* Leadership & Facilitation: Strong facilitation and influencing skills to drive alignment with the Domain Owner and stakeholders.
