Surveillance Manager Job Description
The Surveillance Manager role is responsible for overseeing the surveillance and verification regime to ensure due diligence in manufacturing and construction activities. The successful candidate will lead a team of Surveillance Officers, provide mentoring and support, and drive professional career development within the team or wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Model good leadership to inspire direction and delivery, develop people, and drive change.
* Manage Surveillance and Verification Plans, preparing and undertaking regular reviews and updates to ensure best practice in surveillance management.
* Produce regular reporting, updates, and dashboards to inform decision-making and maintain auditability and traceability of works and activities.
* Oversee the collation of all surveillance reports, filing, and production of formal correspondence from document systems.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through regular meetings to ensure coordination of Surveillance Officer input.
* Manage site surveillance activities on complex projects, minimising conflicts between stakeholders to meet client requirements and project deadlines.
About You:
* Demonstrated experience leading a team in the construction and maintenance industry.
* Extensive experience with technologies, practices, and processes of civil construction and maintenance works in a highly specialised field.
* Advanced trade qualifications in a highly specialised field, or equivalent relevant experience.
