Psychology Services
A team of Clinical Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, and Health Psychologists working alongside multidisciplinary professionals in allied health, nursing, and medical teams.
We offer professional development support, peer review, and clinical supervision, including to new graduates and psychology registrars.
Support, mentoring, and development from a psychology leadership team.
The role:
Provide psychological services, including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions, to patients of the Tasmanian Health Service – Hospitals South in both inpatient and community settings.
Engage with, provide advice and consultation to, multidisciplinary teams, including assisting in discharge planning, case conferences, and family meetings.
Provide education and support to families, carers, staff, service providers, and others involved in ongoing patient care and management.
We are recruiting for positions within our inpatient team working across services in the acute, subacute, and community settings.

Details of appointment:
Allied Health Professional, Level 3
Multiple permanent, part-time positions available, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible.
1x Fixed-term, part-time position, working 38 hours per fortnight, until 31 March 2026.
1x Fixed-term, part-time position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, until 30 November 2025.

Hours are negotiable with successful applicants.
Note: This selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies for up to twelve months from the publication date.
Salary:
$110,425 to $126,703 per annum (Pro rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution.
Salary Packaging:
Access to salary packaging benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment annually, among others.
Allowances:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.
Additional allowances may be available based on salary level and qualifications.

Approved tertiary qualification in psychology.
Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
