Aspect Personnel are currently working with a council in Melbourne's West to recruit an experienced Project Manager. The role will be an initial 6 month contract. You will be responsible for leading the construction phase of key major community building projects including community hubs, pavilions and an aquatic centre. You will be responsible for: Coordinate and liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met. Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and address any issues or risks promptly to maintain project timelines. Manage contracts, variations, and procurement activities in line with council policies and regulations. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process. Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and council committees. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams, community groups, and other stakeholders. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts as they arise.
