Executive Assistant to CEO
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to join our client's dynamic local government team in Perth's Southern suburbs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role within local government;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
* Strong attention to detail;
* Experience preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes;
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence on behalf of the CEO and Shire President.
2. Coordinate the CEO's daily schedule meetings and commitments.
3. Organise appointments meetings and related logistics.
4. Research and prepare responses to Councillor requests assist with presentation preparation.
5. Monitor and respond to telephone written and in-person enquiries.
6. Track expenditure and assist in maintaining operational budgets Raise purchase orders as required.
7. Coordinate and support special projects as directed by the CEO.
8. Action and follow up items arising from council meetings.
