We have developed a purpose-built workshop facility to ensure we have the capacity and resources to deliver our full-service offering to the Mackay region and surrounding areas.We are looking for two Machine Support Technicians (Diesel Fitters).
This position will be predominately based in our Mackay workshop.
However, the successful applicant will be required to attend various mine sites to support machinery pre and post-rebuild.The RoleAssist with the demode of machinery and prepare for transport.Provide onsite maintenance and support to machinery returning to work post-rebuild.Run diagnostics and fault find.Ability to work away for between 1-7 days at a time, DS and NS.Flexible with urgent call-outs.Key RequirementsTrade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.Previous experience in bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance.Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of diesel mechanics.Ability to work independentlyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.Various site inductions are highly regarded.What We OfferHourly rate $60p.h in town $75p.h onsite + travel (when attending site)Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Flexibility with rosterHow to ApplyIf you're an experienced Diesel Fitter and want to join our Mackay team, we'd love to hear from you
