How You Will Support
Assist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents
Promote happiness, wellbeing and quality of life for residents
Assist in delivery of various workshops, social and other activities
Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs
Document any changes to resident's activities or as required by Occupational Health & Safety
Communicate with residents and their families
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards
Certificate III/IV in Leisure and Health
Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant position (or similar), including dementia care
Experience using a computerized care management system (desirable) and outstanding computer literacy skills
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, flu vaccination, and certification proof.
