As a Strategic Planner, you will contribute to business goals by providing expert planning and resource management advice in statutory and strategic planning. You will have the opportunity to work on various land development, infrastructure, and strategic projects across NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive urban planning strategies, demonstrating high proficiency in research, data analysis, and report writing.
* Act as project manager with planning, programming, and coordination of projects to ensure outputs meet or exceed agreed goals.
* Create project plans and strategies for completing major projects, including identification of business resource requirements.
* Manage preparation of strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments, and other planning documentation and submissions.
* Conduct technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team to ensure it meets client expectations.
* Lead and assist with tender documentation preparation.
* Foster client relationships and identify business opportunities.
* Grow, develop, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
* Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
* Self-motivated and self-directed.
* Interest in working on diverse projects.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with teams, managers, and clients.
