Position available as Lecturer (Level B, $111,031 - $131,335 per annum) /Senior Lecturer (Level C, $135,388 – $155,696 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

The School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (EME) is in search of a strong and dedicated researcher and educator, specialising in Aerospace Engineering, to join our team of active academics within the discipline of Mechanical Engineering.
We are seeking an expert in Aerospace Engineering, with a well-established research track record and strong passion for teaching. Our research is highly interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with scientists, engineers, and industry.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent, with expertise in the aerospace engineering research area.
Level B you will need
Demonstrated research ability that supports the School's research strengths in experimental, design, and numerical modelling of next-generation aerospace. technologies, fluid processes in aerospace applications and clean energy processes.
Record of research achievements as evidenced by publications in high-quality refereed journals or conference proceedings.
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student engagement.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with both students and staff.
Ability to carry out administrative duties, as directed by the Head of School, effectively and efficiently.
Level C you will need
Substantial record of research achievements as evidenced by publications in high-quality refereed journals or conference proceedings.
Demonstrated ability to win significant research funding.
Substantial record of success in effective teaching using evidence-based pedagogy that promotes student engagement and as lecturer/course coordinator.
Record of successful curriculum development or pedagogical innovation.
Demonstrated ability to attract and supervise postgraduate students.
