We're looking for a driven Business Development Executive to drive new customer acquisition and accelerate our growth across the mid-market sector in Australia.

This role is 70% focussed on outbound appointment setting - building pipeline, creating opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings for our senior BDMs. The other 30% is closing inbound leads from free trials and demo requests, giving you exposure to the full sales cycle and a pathway to growing into more complex deals. This is a complex SaaS product so will give great exposure to full consultative selling.

It's ideal for a high-performing BDR ready to take the next step, or a sales executive who's proven themselves in activity-driven environments and wants a new challenge to grow into solution sales in SaaS. This role has ANZ scope so you'll have the opportunity to prospect, and help grow our business on both sides of the Tasman.

You'll thrive here if you're hungry, structured, and proactive - with the discipline to drive high outbound activity while also being commercially savvy enough to qualify and close inbound opportunities. This is a flexible, remote-friendly role, so you need to be self-motivated, able to operate autonomously, and be execution-focussed.

Key responsibilities

* Drive outbound pipeline growth through cold calls, personalised emails, and social outreach.
* Consistently book high-quality meetings and demos for the senior Business Development team.
* Leverage our existing customer base in Australia to generate referrals and identify lookalike accounts.
* Rigorously track activity and results in CRM: calls, emails, meetings set, conversion rates, and follow-up discipline.
* Manage and close inbound leads from free trials and demo requests, including discovery, demo, and conversion into paying customers.
* Maintain a structured pipeline with clear next steps, applying a defined sales methodology.

About you:

* 2+ years in an appointment-setting BDR role, with 1-2 years experience closing inbound opportunities.
* Proven outbound prospecting success in a phone-based, high-activity SaaS environment.
* Experience selling software into logistics-related industries (last-mile delivery, transport, supply chain) is a plus.
* CRM discipline and comfort working with structured sales methodologies.
* Self-starter who thrives in lean, fast-paced, remote-friendly environments.
* Commercially sharp, resilient, and motivated to overachieve on targets.
