Water Safety Professional
We are seeking a Water Safety Professional to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about water safety and has excellent communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons within our facility.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and public safety applications within their facility. You will also need to be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
This role offers a great balance between work and life with flexible morning, evening and weekend classes. You will also have opportunities for career progression in a growing organisation.
In this role, you will be required to possess exceptional verbal communication skills, be able to work flexibly including mornings, evenings and weekends, and have a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons within the facility
* Provide a welcoming environment that meets the needs of diverse age groups, abilities, cultures and needs
* Communicate effectively with students of varying ages, abilities, cultures and needs
Requirements:
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Exceptional verbal communication skills
* Understanding of OHS and public safety principles
* Ability to work flexibly including mornings, evenings and weekends
