Casual Receptionist - Join Our Work Family at Full Life Psychology
Position: Casual Receptionist (1–2 shifts per week)
Hours: Weekdays, hours between 7:30am–4:30pm
Essential day: Wednesday
Additional days: Some Thursdays and other days as required. Potential Saturday hours in the future. Flexibility required.

About the Role
Our receptionists are the front line of our practice and play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly.
As our receptionist, you will often be the first point of contact for someone reaching out for support. Your role is to help clients feel reassured that they have made the right decision, and to ensure they feel comfortable, supported, and valued in every interaction.
You will contribute to a client experience where people feel seen, nurtured, and genuinely cared for.
Selection Criteria
Essential
* Minimum 12 months' experience in Allied Health reception or PA support
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong relationship-building skills with clients and referrers
* Exceptional organisation, time-management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
* Confidence and professionalism in managing challenging situations that naturally arise in reception work
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Sensitivity to working with clients from faith backgrounds and comfortability navigating questions related to faith and psychology
* Availability to work Wednesdays
* Flexibility to occasionally cover additional shifts (including sick and annual leave)

Desirable
* Experience using Halaxy practice management software
* Strong computer literacy
* Initiative, with the ability to think ahead and anticipate needs
