Job Overview
This is a unique opportunity to partner with business leaders to drive positive change in health, safety, and environmental practices within an industrial setting.
As a Business Partner - HSE, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policy and strategy.
* Act as a trusted advisor and custodian of standards, leading the implementation and maintenance of HSE strategies and improvement plans.
* Support the rollout of policies, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
* Counsel and mentor leaders and teams from management level through to the shop floor to achieve HSE objectives, while collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address health, safety, and environmental risks.
* Lead reporting and investigations of hazards, incidents, and injuries/illnesses, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
* Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, keeping accurate records of safety inspections, permits, and licenses.
Key Qualifications
Extensive experience in an HSE business partner or operational role, preferably in a complex, high-risk environment, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the fields of HSE, management systems, and relevant legislation.
Sound understanding of Injury Management, Workers Compensation, and Health Promotion.
Relevant tertiary qualification in work health and safety, risk management, or related field.
Ability to obtain Australian Defence Clearances.
Ability to on-site presence during the working week.
