As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in generating, growing and maximizing sale revenue by engaging with customers and establishing new accounts. You will be responsible for pinpointing and winning new business across the market, focusing on last-mile and same-day/next day delivery solutions using innovative technology.
Key responsibilities include:
* Pinpointing and winning new business across the market, focusing on last-mile and same-day/next day delivery solutions using innovative technology.
* Shaping and delivering on business development plans, from identifying prospects and outreach, to steering the full sales process—prospecting, cold calling, tailored proposals, engaging presentations, and successful contract signings.
* Building and maintaining a solid pipeline by tracking competitors, unearthing shifts in retail, e-commerce, and other relevant sectors.
* Strengthening and nurturing client relationships for long-term success, using a consultative approach and ongoing check-ins to create satisfied, repeat customers.
Required skills and experience include recent experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in logistics, last-mile delivery, transport, or similar technology-led services. Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and meeting sales targets in a B2B setting is also essential.
