- **Are you an mechanical or mechatronics engineer with experience in machine design in the automation and robotic sector?**:

**Your New Role** will see you sourcing clients with the need for custom robotic and automated material handling systems; primarily consisting of robotics, wrapping, palletising machinery and vision systems, conveyors and specialised automation solutions for clients across various industries such as manufacturing, wood, plastic, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and more.
You will develop relationships with new and existing clients where you will scope their engineering project requirements, you will then design the solution for the project before you present back to the client for approval and sign off. You will strive to develop strategic plans and relationships at both management and line level, taking ownership of new business to ensure the delivery of excellent service standards.
**You** will have proven machine design experience and a solid sales track record within the robotic and automated material handling systems sector. The right person will have a background in the manufacturing environment and possess hands on experience as well as the technical knowledge to find the right solution for the client. To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- **Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics**:
- **Professional Member of Engineers Australia**:
- **Proficient in producing and reviewing project proposals and tender documents**:
- **Proven sales experience within Automation/robotics**:
- **Solid Edge - 3D design experience (required)**:
- **Familiarity with mech/elec safety requirements of machine design**:
- **Sound knowledge of sensors, PLC's, pneumatics, servo motors, conveyors and robotic based automation systems**:
- **Ability to travel state-wide from Gold Coast Office**:
- **Microsoft Office suit including Microsoft Planner or Project**
