We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to commence a full-time apprenticeship in Certificate III Wood Machining.
This opportunity is working in Geelong Region with a local business who have been operating for over 30 years in making Australia's best post and rail fencing systems, timber bollards and logs and steppers. They pride themselves on delivering a quality service in supplying all-Australian durable outdoor landscaping products to their customers with a focus on sustainability.

The Role:
* Manufacturing timber products
* Preparing, maintaining and operating woodworking machinery
* Use of power tools
* Carry out measurements and calculations
* Cutting, shaping, and finishing wood
Required Skills and Attributes:
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to work overtime if required
* High regard for Health and Safety
* Physically fit and able to lift 25kgs
* Required to pass drug and alcohol and physical/functional test
* Must have reliable transport
What to expect:
You will be required to work fulltime 38 hours per week Mon to Friday 7 am -3:30pm and be willing to work overtime when required.
As an apprentice of gforce you will be a valued member of our friendly and supportive staff, while receiving award wages and on-the-job training. Like all our staff, you will be encouraged to develop a long-term career and commitment to successfully complete your apprenticeship.
