6-month fixed term contract for a skilled payroller to work in a team of 2, newly created position

Our client, based in the manufacturing industry, are seeking a hardworking Payroll Officer to join their team in this newly created position as the company are implementing a new time and attendance system.
This role is being offered on a 6-month fixed term contract, so you will be ideally immediately available, or available in under 1 weeks' notice.
(Please note you **must** be based in Perth to be considered for this role)
**The Role**
- Coordinate the payroll function, 2 fortnightly cycles with 600 employees
- Superannuation Payments & Reconciliations and Workers Compensation.
- Assisting employees with any payroll related queries or issues.
- Processing leave entitlements, processing new starters and terminations.
- General administration around the payroll, PAYG and end of month payments.
**Your Skills & Experience**
- Payroll experience spanning at least 2+ years.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to easily learn new systems, experience using MYOB Greentree will be a benefit (not essential)
