The Opportunity
We have multiple positions available for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Structures to join the MQ-28A Program at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD. The MQ28 is based in a fully air-conditioned hangar, and you may travel to remote areas of Australia several times a year.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for aircraft structures related modifications and maintaining aircraft systems in both line and base environments (Level 1 and flightline).
Experience/Qualifications - Essential
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills Structures
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance (NV1 minimum)
* Ability to meet clearance requirements for Global Trade Controlled items
* Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing)
* Computer literacy
Experience/Qualifications - Desirable
* 12 months experience as a fully qualified AME-Structures
* Knowledge of 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
* Competence to seek delegated authorities under DASR 145
* Knowledge of aviation quality assurance, maintenance/modification procedures, AMD and ICA documentation
Security Clearance
If you do not already hold a clearance, you will need to undergo vetting for a minimum NV1 clearance sponsored by BDA. You must be willing to disclose relevant information and verify your background for life. More info is available on the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website .
