About The Role: GTE Admissions Officer
As a GTE Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in assessing and verifying student applications to ensure they meet Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria for studying in Australia. This includes evaluating academic qualifications, financial documents, and statements of purpose, as well as providing support and advice to students and stakeholders.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess Genuine Student Requirement (GSR) applications for compliance with Acknowledge Education policies.
2. Verify IELTS/PTE scores provided by applicants to ensure legitimacy and validity.
3. Evaluate students' academic qualifications and educational background using CEP.
4. Assess and verify financial documents to confirm sufficient funds for tuition, living expenses, and other costs.
5. Evaluate Genuine Student Requirement statements of purpose to determine genuine intent to study in Australia.
6. Provide accurate and timely advice to students, stakeholders, and support College initiatives.
7. Respond to enquiries in person, by phone, and provide timely and accurate information.
8. Maintain effective communication strategies across the campus and with other college functions.

* Prior experience is preferred but not necessary – comprehensive training is provided.
