ROLE SNAPSHOT:
Responsible for providing Level 1 & 2 IT Helpdesk support and monitoring to various SMB customers - onsite and remote.
You'll undertake a very broad role involving support & troubleshooting, systems administration, and security for small businesses.
Working in a close-knit team with the company Director to support the businesses continued expansion.
Key elements of the role:
* Level 1 & 2 IT Helpdesk Support to troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware/software, server, and network issues for SMB customers.
* Support & configure Microsoft 365 - Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune etc.
* Windows Server monitoring, support, and management
* Firewall configuration - Sophos
* Monitor remote management platforms
* Support DR and backups.
* Support & manage security tools such as ThreatLocker & SentinelOne.
* Interact with vendors and 3rd parties to resolve issues.
* Support customers via phone, email and onsite.
* On-site visits to customers (company car is available).
REQUIRED BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL QUALITIES
Suitable for a self-sufficient and proactive IT Support professional capable of taking the initiative and who prides themselves on their customer service abilities.
Ideal if you enjoy working in smaller company environments and live in and around the North Beaches or Forest District and are seeking looking for a challenging role closer to home.
The following is required:
* Proven L1 & L2 IT Helpdesk support experience across Microsoft technologies, incl M365.
* Capable of troubleshooting IT issues across desktop hardware/software, network connectivity, printers, servers etc.
* Interest in cyber security.
* Demonstrate the ability to proactively take the initiative for self-learning and problem solving.
* Display excellent customer service abilities and clear communication skills.
* Positive, upbeat, and friendly personality who enjoys collaborating with and helping others.
* Current Australian drivers licence and comfortable travelling to customer sites for onsite support.
This is an full-time permanent role located close to the Northern Beaches / Forest District and is offering $70,000 - $85,000 + super - depending on experience.
