You will be able to use your experience, skills and knowledge to improve our programs and make them your own. Your management experience will also hold you in good stead as you coach and motivate the team to grow their capabilities and deliver world class compliance and monitoring programs.Key responsibilities will include:Identifying ways to help CA ANZ members provide high quality services to their clients, reduce their risk and comply with professional standardsAnalysing the findings of our monitoring activities and sharing those findings with members and other key stakeholders in a variety of mediumsProviding strategic insight and advice, and recommending and making changes to the monitoring activities and risk management strategy and plan as appropriateStakeholder consultation and engagement with the Big 4 and other membership groups, insurers, regulators, government and consultants regarding liability capping, professional risk and claims data collection issuesDeveloping, implementing and managing effective policies and procedures for CA ANZ’s professional standards scheme related mattersUsing technology to improve the effectiveness of our monitoring programsStaying abreast of regulatory developments in Australia and programs overseas to identify issues of relevance to the Scheme and related areasPreparing annual budgets and undertake re-forecasting as requiredLead and develop a small team of dedicated professionalsABOUT YOUYou are an experienced leader with past roles in risk management, compliance or audit and assurance services. You have an in-depth understanding of how Accountants operate, their needs and challenges. You may be a Chartered Accountant wanting to move out of public practice. You may also be tired of working long hours and are seeking more work/life balance in a role where you can utilise your broad stakeholder management skills, ability to problem solve and risk management expertise.
