Care is provided in a variety of settings including; at home, community centres, the birthing centre, delivery suite, theatre and across units of Women's and Babies Division of WCHN. About the role The Midwifery Unit Manager provides line management and clinical coordination to ensure safe, high-quality patient care within Women’s and Babies. The role drives evidence-based practice, workforce performance, quality improvement, risk management and efficient service delivery while fostering a positive, accountable team culture. Key duties of the role Integrate contemporary information and evidence with personal experience to support decisions and analysis Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes Maintain productive working relationships and manage conflict resolution. Change local processes and practices in accordance with emerging service needs Provide leadership and coordination to achieve quality care and outcomes.
