Walara Background
Walara Incorporated was formed as a result of 3 aged care facilities merging in 2022/2023, Balaklava Millcourt Homes (BMH) Accredited until 2028, Hamley Bridge Aged Care (HBAC) Accredited until 2028, and Gilbert Valley Senior Citizens Homes (GVSCH) Accredited until 2028. Ardrossan Seaview is the newest aged care facility to join Walara in October 2025 and is also accredited until 2028.
The four sites operate 158 residential aged care beds in total, and retirement living services in Balaklava and Gilbert Valley.

Role Details
The Human Resources & Digital Platforms (HRDP) Manager is responsible for leading and managing the human resources (HR) and digital platforms (DP) functions across Walara.
This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and innovative workforce and digital solutions that support the organisation's strategic goals, values, and mission.
The role will oversee recruitment, retention, performance management, industrial relations, return-to-work coordination, and DP (and IT) systems across multiple aged care and independent living sites.
* Employment Type: 0.8 – 1.0 FTE
* Salary Range: Up to approx. $125,000 p.a. (at 1.0 FTE)
* Location: Base to be negotiated. Multi-site across 4 residential aged care facilities and 3 independent living unit locations (within 75km radius of Balaklava)
* Staffing Scope: 230 staff (including casual, part-time, and 15 international nurses under visa sponsorship)
In addition, you will display or hold:
* evidence of vaccination/s (as per compliance requirements)
* current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Aged Care) or be willing to obtain
