About the Role
An established organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner with a strong FP&A and commercial focus to support strategic decision-making across the business.
This role is best suited to someone who thrives in forward-looking analysis, financial modelling, forecasting and performance insight – rather than a purely transactional or compliance-based accounting role.
You will work closely with senior leaders to influence decisions, assess investment opportunities and drive commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
FP&A & Commercial Insight
Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and multi-year financial planning
Deliver scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling and financial impact assessments
Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, pricing and investment decisions
Analyse financial and operational performance, translating data into clear commercial insightsMonitor KPIs and performance trends to support strategic decision-making
Business Partnering & Reporting
Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders and operational teams
Prepare management reporting packs and executive-level financial insights
Provide variance analysis and recommend actions to improve performance
Support pricing reviews, tenders and contract evaluations
Process Improvement & Value Creation
Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting quality and commercial insight
Drive automation and continuous improvement across FP&A processes
Promote financial capability and data-driven decision-making across the organisation
Experience & Focus
Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles
Demonstrated capability in forecasting, modelling, performance analysis and decision support
Comfortable working with complex data and influencing non-finance stakeholders
Experience in large, complex or regulated environments is desirable
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline
CA/CPA qualification welcome but not essential – commercial FP&A experience is key
Skills
Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to challenge and influence
Excellent communication skills with senior and non-financial stakeholders
Proficient in Excel and financial systems; exposure to ERP and BI tools advantageous
