As Ceres Tag continues its growth journey, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Sales Lead.Position overviewThe Sales Lead is responsible for driving the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. The Sales Lead will work closely with marketing and commercial teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals. The company values of digital by default, culture of collaboration and continuous improvement will guide your goal setting.Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets. Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. Set sales goals, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges to deliver tailored solutions. Oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to align sales campaigns with marketing initiatives and generate leads. Collaborate with commercial team to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development and service delivery. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights on market trends, sales performance, and forecasts. Work with the commercial team to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth. Develop strategies for entering new markets and expanding the company's customer base. Collaborate with the commercial team to identify potential partnerships or strategic alliances that can enhance the company's market position. About you Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, technology, or a related field (preferred). Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Experience in agritech, animal health, livestock management, or IoT (Internet of Things) products is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM tools and sales software.
