Key responsibilities
* Order fulfillment:
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
* Checking products for quality and ensuring they match order details.
* Preparing and packaging items for shipping, including printing labels.
* Warehouse operations:
* Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods.
* Loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks.
* Organizing and maintaining stock in designated locations.
* Performing regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
* Equipment and environment:
* Operating warehouse machinery like forklifts (if licensed) for moving stock.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace.
* General duties:
* Assisting with other general warehouse tasks as needed.
* Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets.
* Communicating with delivery drivers and other staff.
